Electrochemical Cell for Water Splitting

Technology: Catalyst that produces hydrogen from water at a very low electrical potential; developing a cell that produces hydrogen and oxgen from water at ~ 1/2 volt of electrical potential

Benefit: This opens up the possibility of obtaining hydrogen directly from low electrical potential sources such as solar and wind power.
